"The silence of God" / (Eng_15')

The silence of God” is an experimental short movie that reflects on spiritual and metaphysical themes (the relationship between the transcendence of Being and the immanence of material entities).
Through a non-narrative and non-didactic language, it tries to penetrate the deepest and unconscious dimension of the viewer by stimulating his sensitivity, culture and intelligence, and above all his intuitive and interpretative vein to allow him to catch or fill with meanings and reflections all the allegorical and argumentative apparatus of the film. This movie is mainly a sensorial and conceptual experience, devoid of dialogue, but full of symbolic or metaphorical scenes, which, through the sheer force of film editing, combines images and music (characterized by a certain evocative charge) to deep and complex contents.
The work attempts to conceptually represent the enormous difficulty or inability of modern man to be able to see, absorb and experience the dimension of the sacred in the earthly world.
